Week 3: 4 April
Started to decorate front bedroom, moved out to back bedroom. Keith's birthday party by video call with Sarah, Jonny, Geoff. Pauline not well. Reading Robinson Crusoe. Played Bug Bingo with Sarah and kids on video call.
Week 2: 28 March
Received my text to say i'm included in the very vulnerable group and have to stay inside for 12 weeks for 'shielding'.
Got out an old Ceroc DVD to learn some moves, also tried walking in the garden. It's 43 steps from the front to the back! Discovered PE with Joe and, though it's primarily aimed at kids and families it is fun and motivating (and hard work!). Watched Goodbye to Lenin.

Sunny Sunday
A lovely sunny day, so went for a bike ride. Assumed canal nearby would be quiet, which it was, but impossible to stay 2m away from other walkers on a 1m path. 2 people coughed just as we were cycling past....
The news reports show crowds at popular parks and criticism of those going there and not being able to stay 2m apart. Perhaps we need more parks?

Week 1: 21 March
It feels like more than a week - so much has happened. At the beginning of the week there was advice about maybe social distancing, and the gov saying perhaps we would need to take more measures. By the end of the week, all the schools are closed, all the pubs and everyone has to work from home. Just when you think you've understood what is happening and what you need to do - it all changes. How much more will happen?
